- You sign up, we watch your competitors. You give us URLs; we visit them weekly (Starter) or daily (Pro), detect changes, and email you a Monday brief plus instant alerts for the big ones.
- 14-day free trial, no card. When the trial ends, billing only starts if you add a card. Plans are €49 (Starter, 5 competitors) or €99 (Pro, 15 competitors), monthly, in EUR.
- Cancel anytime. One click in Settings. No emails to support. Your access continues to the end of the paid period.
- No auto-upgrade clauses. We will never silently move you to a more expensive plan. If we change pricing, your next renewal email tells you 30 days in advance.
- Your data is yours. You can export it any time as JSON or CSV. On account deletion we wipe it within 30 days from primary stores.
- Dutch law applies. If something goes wrong we want to fix it. If we cannot, the courts of Rotterdam, the Netherlands have jurisdiction.
These terms describe how SpotRivals (the service, the dashboard, the marketing site, and the email digests) is provided to you, and what you agree to when you use any of them. By creating an account or starting the free trial, you agree to these terms.
Who you are agreeing with#
These terms are an agreement between you (the natural person creating the account, or the legal entity on whose behalf the account is created) and the besloten vennootschap (BV) trading as SpotRivals, KvK 77807049, registered in the Netherlands. Full entity identification is on the Legal information page. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you are under 16, you are not allowed to use SpotRivals.
Your account#
You agree to give us accurate sign-up information, to keep your password secret, and to tell us if your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by team members you invite.
On Pro plans you can invite up to three additional team members per workspace. You decide what they see; we decide what they cannot see (your billing details, for one).
Trial, plans, and billing#
Free trial
14 days, no credit card required. You can track up to 2 competitors during the trial with full AI analysis. We do not charge anything until you add a payment method and pick a plan; if the trial ends without a payment method, your account simply pauses.

- €49/month. 5 competitors, 5 pages each (25 pages total), weekly monitoring, AI analysis on every change, weekly Monday digest, dashboard with full change history, instant alerts for critical changes.
- Pro
- €99/month. 15 competitors, 10 pages each (150 pages total), daily monitoring, up to 3 team members, Slack integration, PDF export, full searchable digest archive, plus everything in Starter.

Prices exclude VAT. Where we are required to charge VAT (Dutch and EU consumers; EU businesses without a valid VAT ID), Stripe calculates and adds it at checkout based on your billing address. EU businesses with a valid VAT ID are charged under the reverse-charge mechanism (Article 196 of the EU VAT Directive).
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
SpotRivals is sold to businesses, so most accounts are B2B and the EU consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. If you sign up as a consumer (a natural person not acting in the course of a trade, business, craft, or profession), Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from this contract. By starting the service (logging in to the dashboard or adding a competitor) before the 14-day period ends, you expressly request that performance begins during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside the dashboard; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund partial months by default.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe retries on a standard schedule. If it still fails after 14 days, your account is paused (read-only). Your data is preserved for 60 days; after that we may delete it.
What we provide#
SpotRivals visits the URLs you add, detects when those pages change, runs the change through Claude (by Anthropic) for a strategic-impact analysis, and surfaces the result in your dashboard and in the weekly Monday email. The exact mechanics, monitoring frequency, and quotas depend on your plan.
We aim to be useful, not exhaustive. We filter out noise (cosmetic changes, copyright-year updates, tiny formatting tweaks) and surface only what we think matters.
Acceptable use#
You agree to use SpotRivals only to monitor public-facing pages of organisations, not individual people. You agree to honor robots.txt on the URLs you ask us to watch. You agree not to republish AI-generated summaries verbatim without attribution. The full list of bright lines lives in the Acceptable-use policy; it is part of these terms.
Customer content#
You retain all rights in the content you put into SpotRivals (URLs, notes, settings). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of providing the service to you, plus a limited licence to use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the service.
For data processed on your behalf we are a processor and you are the controller; the Data processing agreement governs that relationship.
Intellectual property#
SpotRivals (the software, the dashboard, the design, the brand) belongs to us. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service while your subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.
Availability and warranty#
We work hard to keep SpotRivals available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
AI analyses are best-effort. They are not financial, legal, or strategic advice. Do not act on them without your own judgement.
Limitation of liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD, whichever is greater.
Term and termination#
These terms apply for as long as you have an account. You can cancel from Settings → Billing or by deleting your account in Settings → Data. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms or the Acceptable-use policy, with notice except where the breach is severe.
Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith conversation will be brought before the competent court in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, except that EU consumers retain the right to bring a claim in the courts of their place of residence.
Changes to these terms#
For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will email account owners at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use SpotRivals after the effective date counts as acceptance.
